Hi! I’m Jordan and welcome to Be Your Best Self & Thrive  - I am so happy you’re here.

 

I am a current graduate student in Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University. I have been passionate about mental health for as long as I can remember and I am thrilled to enter the world of counseling and mental health to guide people on their healing journey. 

 

I am excited to join the BYBS team as Social Media Support to help build our social media platforms with important education that helps to break the stigma around speaking openly about mental health. I also enjoy creating content that fits our aesthetic, so it is easy for you all to enjoy. 

 

I believe creative outlets are important forms of self-care. Whether it be drawing, painting pottery, or writing a story, being creative allows you to let loose and put your mind in a different realm. You feel calm and at ease, like nothing else truly matters. I find myself feeling this way when creating content for BYBS. I get the opportunity to let my creativity flow and I get to test out so many ideas that I have running through my brain. I also have the chance to learn so much about the world of mental health. It helps inform me as a future clinician as well as skills to test in my day to day life. It has been so fun so far and I cannot wait to keep creating! 

 

A fun fact about me: I love crystals! I believe they hold such positive energy and symbolize our goals and manifestations. I think they are a great tangible reminder of what we are striving for and manifesting what we want out of life. I often wear my rose quartz as a symbol of self-love.
