Jessica's Story

Hi, I’m Jessi. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. It’s an honor to do this work, and I hope we’ll have the opportunity to connect and explore what healing might look like for you.

I was born and raised in a small town in central New Jersey. I came into this world as an old soul with the gift of music starting with piano at the age of 3. I learn through listening and discovered later in life that this would be one of my greatest strengths, however it took years for me to see it this way.  Growing up I had a deep inner knowing that I was different. I have Dyslexia, ADHD, and I’m Queer which for me translates to: everything is music, I am embodied, love is love and we are here to love and be loved.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Arcadia University, with minors in Sociology and Women’s Studies. After completing additional certifications in yoga and nutrition, I became a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Holistic Health Coach. This holistic lens continues to guide my work today.

Community and creativity brought me to St. Pete, where I co-founded and operated The Movement Sanctuary, a circus arts facility and intentional community space. Becoming a business owner shaped me deeply, and it’s part of why I’m especially passionate about supporting fellow entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders navigating burnout, identity, and emotional sustainability.

I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Saybrook University and have accrued over 700 hours of clinical training. I’m Level 1 and 2 Gottman Certified and use research-based tools to help couples strengthen connection, navigate conflict, and deepen intimacy. Life is about connection, and our partnerships often mirror the parts of ourselves that most need attention and care. Supporting couples means helping individuals learn how to truly see and hear each other, to repair what’s been ruptured, and to grow both individually and together. I find deep meaning in creating a space where love, vulnerability, and communication can thrive, even when things feel messy.

My path towards becoming a therapist has been fueled by my passion to support others on their healing journey from a well-rounded and informed place. I have gained a lot of knowledge through my studies and life experiences as an entrepreneur, yoga instructor, health coach, traveler, lifelong learner, mother, and wife. Together, these experiences have shaped who I am today, allowing me to show up fully, with tenderness and awareness, for the people I work with.

My approach to therapy is integrative. I draw from evidence-based modalities while incorporating mind-body practices such as yoga, meditation, and nutrition. I work with a wide range of clients, including those exploring ethical non-monogamy and polyamory, and I strive to create a space where your full identity and lived experience are welcome.

I support individuals working through anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop self-trust, and reconnect with joy. Whether you’re facing a challenge or seeking growth, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion.
